Fat girl problems

So today I wore an amazing tunic. It was bright and looked amazing.

I felt good in it and thats what matters when dressing in plus size clothing.

I have however one gripe.

I have no boobs. Typically as dresses go up in size the bust also increases to cater for growth.

However Im odd. No matter how large I have gotten (yes currently at my highest weight) my boobs are still a C cup. I wish just once I could fill a nice dress without my butt to boob ratio being completely out of whack.

Please tell me Im not alone!!!

So with 23 days left till my birthday people keep asking that dreaded question…
‘What would you like for your Birthday?’

I mean I love how much they care but it is always slightly awkward. I am very conservative in my suggestions  and ideas.

However my mind always has its unrealistic desires so here are my Birthday gifts that I would love to recieve however would never ask family or friends to purchase  A girl is totally allowed to dream 😆

Kid Free Mature Fun

Being kid free is such an exciting experience once you reach parenthood. It is even better than birthdays :p

Since it is school holidays I have a handful of kid free days and friends that also share the freedom of school holiday spare time.

Thursday we ventured in to Southbank again. This time I could eat where I wanted and simply chill. We stayed at Mantra South bank, dined at Nandos, Nitrogenie, Southbank Surf Club and Stone Restaurant.

AND we went on the wheel of Brissy  (thanks groupon) and saw DIRTY DANCING!!!

How do you spend your kid free time?

Races

Last weekend I went to my first races. There are several reasons why this was my first event.
1. Being a parent, kid free time generally isn’t  a daytime thing.
2. Friends- I have recently surrounded myself with  more great people
3. My size – until recently I lacked the confidence within myself and my appearance to attend events like this.

I have finally found a place within myself where I feel okay and I feel safe to dress well and feel good 🙂

Cooling Down Outfits

I am a massive fan of the cooler weather. I LOVE layering from cardis to tights to jackets to coats. I love it all.

The weather of late has been very indecisive in my neck of the woods from hot to cold. Which is a real pain to dress for.

Term 1 Outfits

As the hectic schedule of term two kicks in alongside Winter I have already found myself flicking back through my summer work outfits from Term 1.

I thought I would share a few of my favourites!!

My ultimate shift dress (Target) worn with a pop of colour (The Adorn Collective)

Bright printed top (city chic) with black tones carried through onto a simple Target skirt and my go to Tshirt necklace (The Adorn Collective )

Gorgeous Target collection top with comfy Autograph black harem pant. Tshirt necklace once again popping up!

This striped shift dress is so simple and comfy (17 Sundays). I love how easily it is dressed up with a statement necklace (The Adorn Collective)

Black wrap top (Target) Purple pattern skirt with mesh panel (Asos Curve) complimented by Bell Frankie & Co Statement necklace and stacking bracelet.

This is my motivation to step up my Term 2 wardrobe to battle through the pain of winter and that dreaded time of year REPORT CARDS!!!
